It’s Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define. I own both, and Makeup Revolution has made the closest thing to Shape Tape that I’ve found so far. For filling in pores and smoothing out my face, there really is nothing like Shape Tape. BUT…
For covering dark circles, Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define is amazing!
In fact, it’s a thinner formula than Shape Tape, so some people might even like it better. If you’ve tried Shape Tape and it was too heavy for you, you’ll love Conceal and Define.
The Makeup Revolution Concealer:
- Is long-lasting
- Doesn’t look cakey
- Doesn’t crease up
I dot a little around my eye area and I blend it with the very brush pictured below.

I spent a long time denying the importance of good makeup brushes. Once I tried some, I was convinced they really do make a difference in application. I’m NOT saying you need to run out and spend a ton, I have found some fabulous sets at Marshall’s. If you’re over 40 and you’re not already using some decent brushes, I encourage you to try them.
I love both concealers. They are the only ones I am currently using. If you’re heading to Ulta any time soon, pick up this amazing little concealer for only $7. You won’t regret it!

There’s a new Tarte Shape Tape dupe made by newly Leaping Bunny certified company CoverGirl!!!
I have to say WOW. CoverGirl Trublend Undercover Concealer (available on Amazon) is just about exactly the same. The CoverGirl Trublend is better than the Makeup Revolution as a Tarte Shape Tape Dupe, but remember, you really can’t go wrong with any of these.
All three are amazing!
