I remember oil.  My face always had an ample supply of it in my teens & 20’s.  I tried astringents to strip oil from my face.

There wasn’t enough Sea Breeze in the 80’s for me.  The gallon size is actually available on Amazon!

Without fail, the oil always came back. Those days are gone, and so is the oil.  What happened?

In your 30’s, wrinkles suddenly look deeper because the skin’s natural oils decrease, the moisture barrier breaks down, and the skin dries out.

So depressing.

Plump, hydrated skin is a hallmark of youth, and to get that look, you need oil. It plumps wrinkles with moisture and prevents water loss, giving skin a dewy look.

How could I replenish my missing oils?
Mistery Solved:  Pixi Glow Mist.

Here’s why I love it…

–  Matte foundations offer me the best coverage, but I don’t always like the matte finish.  A couple sprays of Pixi Glow Mist on top of foundation gives me a glow without looking greasy and without messing up my makeup.

–   For a more targeted approach, after applying all my makeup and my look is complete, I’ll spray a couple pumps of Glow Mist onto a Beauty Blender and “pounce” that sponge onto my face.  I don’t rub it all around, it’s more like dabbing.  It helps my makeup blend together seamlessly and adds that J Lo glow I’m after.

-Glow Mist contains 13 natural oils, aloe vera and fruit extracts.  It hydrates, protects and nourishes skin.

–  During the day, my face seems to drink all the moisture out of my makeup, leaving me with a dry look.  Glow Mist refreshes your look easily and can be used anywhere.  Keep a bottle at your desk.  Using a cream lotion to deal with dryness during my day just messes up my makeup.  Mist doesn’t.

–  Facial oils are fantastic, but I’ve found not all of them wear well under makeup.  Glow Mist can also be used under makeup, to create a moisturized canvas for your foundation.

If you’re already oily, this may not be for you.  And I’m really jealous of you for that…

So I guess it’s true: “You don’t know what you got till it’s gone.”  I didn’t realize how much I needed oil until mine left me high and dry.

Hey, Oil, it’s good to have you back.
I mist you.
